About the event
This one day conference will feature national and local speakers. Below is a tentative schedule. Times may change for speakers.
The Rochester Area Chapter of the Compassionate Friends will sponsor a free conference on September 13, 2025, for families who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The emphasis is on child loss, but we will talk about all losses.
The conference runs from 8:00 am to 4:00pm at Ironwood Springs Ranch in Stewartville. Below is a tentative schedule.
Registration with continental breakfast will begin at 8:00 am to 8:30 am
8:30 am - Welcome with Keynote Speaker Mitch Carmody on Proactive Grieving; processing grief through Body, Mind, Soul and Spirit.
9:30 am - Growing through Grief with Kelly Rae Fitzpatrick who speaks on the natural, wholistic approach to processing grief through gardening, grounding, and embracing mother nature as a valuable resource.
